2008 - Now
Ex-Montezuma Drummer Freddy Steady joined KROKUS in 1977 for the recording of "To You All". Next he recorded the "Painkiller" album in 1978.

Steady reached International fame with the release of 1980's "Metal Rendez-Vous", followed by 1981's "Hardware" and 1982's "One Vice At A Time" releases. He toured extensively in Europe and Northern America. He names playing the "Hammersmith Odeon" as a headliner as one of his highlights in his KROKUS career.

In 1983 Freddy was replaced by Steve Pace on drums. Shortly thereafter he joined the band of famous Italian Gianna Nannini and toured Europe until forming "Steady" in 1985 with his wife Heather Rodelius.

Fernando Von Arb reformed KROKUS once more in 1994, releasing a four-track CD EP in Europe that featured a version of BTO's "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet". The return marked for the first time a more spectacular line-up that included Storace, Von Arb, Kohler, Maurer and Freddy Steady on drums. With that formation they released in 1995 a new album called "To Rock Or Not To Be".

November 18th, 2007 marked a milestone in Freddy's KROKUS career with the reunion of the originals (Storace, Von Arb, Von Rohr & Steady) taking part in a Swiss TV show called "The Greatest Hits Of All Times". Although the medley was in a playback format, the band received a standing ovation from the crowd.

August 2nd, 2008 saw the band reunited and "live in concert" at the "Stade De Suisse" in Bern, Switzerland. With the addition of Mark Kohler a true return of the 1982 formation took place. A truly "magical" moment in KROKUS history.

On February 26th, 2010, Sony Music released "Hoodoo", the first cd recorded by the originals since the 80's. It includes the Steppenwolf cover "Born To Be Wild".

And as we speak, history is in the making...... (to be continued)
