“Coming Full Circle” is a phrase that has come true for the original line-up of KROKUS in many aspects of their career since the reunion. We are proud to report that another highlight just materialized:
Aussie rockers AC/DC extended an invitation to KROKUS as their “Special Guest” for their sold out concert at Stade De Suisse football stadium in Bern, Switzerland, where in 2008 KROKUS played their first concert in the original line-up.
In 1981 KROKUS played as “Special Guest” of AC/DC during their USA tour. For years the press has compared KROKUS to AC/DC, mainly due to Marc Storace’s vocal similarity to the late Bon Scott. Both bands released recently new albums. Seeing them almost 30 years later reunited again on the same bill should thrill all fans in and around Switzerland that will witness the event on June 8th.
For those about to rock, long stick goes boom for 40,000 fans of both bands.

KROKUS als Special Guests von AC/DC im ausverkauften Stade de Suisse
Seit 30 Jahren ist Krokus die erfolgreichste Schweizer Rockband weltweit. Keine andere Schweizer Band hat mehr Alben verkauft und auch in den USA Geschichte geschrieben. 2008 meldete sich Krokus mit einem umjubelten Reunion Konzert im Stade de Suisse zurück. Und nach 20 Jahren Plattenpause haben Krokus dieses Jahr ihr vielbeachtetes neues Studio-Album „Hoodoo“ veröffentlicht, welches bereits mit Platin ausgezeichnet worden ist. Seit 10 Wochen ist das Album, das bei der Lancierung direkt auf Platz 1 landete, mittlerweile in den Top 10 der Schweizer Album Charts zu finden.
Nach vier erfolgreichen Hallenkonzerten Anfang Mai und weiteren Festivalkonzerten im Sommer und Herbst diesen Jahres, sind Krokus nun von AC/DC eingeladen worden, als Special Guest das Vorprogramm für ihr ausverkauftes Schweizer Konzert zu spielen. Bereits 1981 haben Krokus im Vorprogramm von AC/DC in den USA gespielt. Und nun wiederholt sich dieser grosse Moment am Dienstag, 8. Juni 2010 (19 Uhr), wenn Krokus im Stade de Suisse in Bern als Special Guest von AC/DC das Stadion rocken.
