2007 "PRE-REUNION" Period
"GREATEST SWISS HITS OF ALL TIMES" SWISS TV 2007
At a time when no one, including the main players, imagined the reality of a "reunion" of the originals, Swiss TV appoached the original members of KROKUS to perform at the mega successful TV series "Greatest Swiss Hits Of All Times". Eventually all parties involved agreed to this "one time" event and on November 18th, 2007 they performed at the Markt Event Hall in Zurich "in person" the KROKUS playback medley "Tokyo Nights"/"Bedside Radio"/"Heatstrokes". The large TV audience rewarded the performance with a standing ovation. To their surprise the original band members were presented with the very prestigeous and rare "Diamond Record Award" for over 1 million sold KROKUS albums in Switzerland (one understands the accomplishment when one understands that a "Gold Record Award" is given these days for 15,000 units sold in Switzerland - these figures vary from country to country and are proportionate to the population of the respective country). Worldwide KROKUS has sold over 10 million records.
